When parents think of Halloween, the first thing they worry about is the Candy their kids might get when trick or treating. While it's a good idea to check your children's candy, there are other things to be aware of. This video shows pediatrician Benjamin D. Hoffman, MD, FAAP, a spokesperson for the American Academy of Pediatrics, offers advice to keep your children safe as they trick or treat.
 

For safer locations for trick or treating, look for Halloween and carnival events run by your local schools, sporting groups and churches.
